1. Agreement and operator
These Terms govern access to Cloud Nations websites, accounts and services operated by EdgeAlphix LLC (Cloud Nations, we, us). You are the individual account holder or, where you act for an organization, that organization and its authorized representative. Product-specific Residency, Organization and Identity Verification Terms apply alongside these Terms. A product-specific provision governs a conflict concerning that product.
Read the applicable terms before accepting an application or order. Prices, fees and the order description presented before confirmation form part of that order. These Terms do not replace rights that applicable law makes mandatory.
2. Accounts and authority
Account holders must be at least 18 and provide accurate, current information. You must have authority to submit information, administer an organization, invite its members or authorize use of its funds. Do not share an account, identity credential, recovery code or API secret with an unauthorized person.
Protect passwords, passkeys, authenticators and recovery methods. Notify [email protected] promptly if access or a credential may be compromised. We may require additional evidence before restoring access or changing verified information; possession of an email address or preferred name alone is not proof of identity.
3. Acceptable use
Do not impersonate another person or organization; falsify verification evidence; obtain a second identifier for the same person; misrepresent a preferred name as a verified legal name; or represent expired, suspended or revoked credentials as active. Do not use the services for fraud, unlawful discrimination, harassment, unlawful financial activity or infringement of another person's rights.
Do not evade access controls, scrape restricted records, enumerate identifiers, resell private identity data, interfere with service availability or use another organization's approved API purpose as a pretext for unrelated surveillance. Report suspected security problems to support without accessing or retaining another person's private information.
4. Orders, fees and renewal
Prices are stated in USD. The checkout shows the amount, any applicable disclosed charges and the payment method before confirmation. An order is fulfilled after confirmed payment and its eligibility conditions are met. A payment or application acknowledgment alone does not establish verified status.
Residency renewals are manual. We do not automatically renew or debit a residency. Discounts apply only under their stated scope, expiration and redemption limits. Failed, refunded or disputed payments may affect the associated entitlement, subject to review and applicable law. Product application fees are non-refundable as stated in the applicable product terms, except where a refund is required by law or expressly agreed by us. Duplicate or erroneous charges should be reported with the order number.
5. Prepaid Wallet
Prepaid Wallet is a USD-denominated balance for eligible Cloud Nations purchases. It is separate from Cloud Credits and from any linked blockchain wallet. Product eligibility still applies when paying from the balance. It does not provide a bank account, interest, peer-to-peer transfers or a general cash withdrawal facility.
Orders below $10 use Prepaid Wallet; orders of $10 or more may use either the balance or direct card checkout. For a top-up below $10, checkout discloses an additional processing amount calculated to cover 2.9% plus $0.30, rounded to cents. Top-ups of $10 or more have no added processing fee. The displayed wallet credit and total charge are separate amounts.
A top-up credits the account after confirmed payment. Reversed or disputed top-ups can result in a hold or balance adjustment; a hold does not create permission to spend money not available in the account. Transaction history records charges and corrections. Report an unauthorized payment or ledger error promptly. Account closure does not itself settle an outstanding balance; contact support for reconciliation and any refund required by law.
6. Credits and activities
Cloud Credits are internal community points. They cannot be transferred, withdrawn as money or used to obtain identity verification. Rewards depend on confirmed participation and the applicable activity rules. A cosmetic badge does not establish verified status.
Registration is subject to capacity, eligibility and the displayed activity terms. Before an activity begins, you may cancel and receive the CC actually deducted for that registration. An existing access entitlement does not generate an extra refund. Organizer cancellation returns the deducted CC. Self-service cancellation closes when the activity starts. Activity schedules and locations may change; registered users receive the applicable notice.
7. Profiles, identity disclosure and API use
Profile disclosure, QR disclosure and connected-app consent are distinct controls. Legal names and preferred names remain separately identified. Public identifier lookup returns only the supported information permitted by public disclosure settings; enabling full-number lookup makes that identifier usable for public retrieval.
OIDC applications receive the scopes and information authorized for that connection. Separately, an approved organization identity API may disclose administrator-approved categories of nonpublic identity or organization information for its documented purpose, such as event identity checks. That access does not require a separate holder approval for each lookup. Access is bounded by its approved fields, purpose, expiry and quota, and is audited for administrators.
An organization or developer receiving data must have a lawful basis for its use, provide any notices required of it, secure the data and restrict its staff and processors to the approved purpose. Do not sell the data, build unrelated profiles or retain it longer than the purpose requires. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access or disclosure and cooperate with containment. API approval is not a substitute for the recipient's legal obligations.
8. Developers and connected services
Register accurate application details and exact redirect URIs. Protect client secrets and API keys, use approved scopes and honor revocation and live credential status. Do not represent a basic account as government-ID verified or use a preferred name claim as a legal-name claim.
Integration limits, granted fields and permissions may change for security or compliance reasons. API credentials may be suspended or revoked when eligibility ends or use breaches the approved purpose. Third-party applications, Wallet providers and blockchain networks operate under their own terms. Cloud Nations does not control their availability or decisions.
9. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in information and content you submit. You authorize us to host, display, process and reproduce it only as needed to operate the services, produce requested credentials and apply your disclosure settings. You must have the rights and permissions needed for that use.
Cloud Nations software, branding and credential designs remain the property of their respective owners. You may display an issued badge or credential for its intended purpose while accurately showing its current status. Do not alter an official credential, signature proof or system-controlled verification result.
10. Suspension, closure and remedies
We may restrict access, a credential, an API grant or an organization where payment is reversed, identity or authority is unresolved, a material breach is identified, or action is reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law. A security incident may require immediate action. Where practicable, we provide the reason and a way to contact support for review; notices may be limited where disclosure is legally prohibited or would compromise security.
Closure or revocation does not reassign a CNID or CNOID. Required number-reservation, payment and audit records are handled separately from profile deletion. A restriction does not automatically resolve an outstanding order, refund or organizational dispute. Applicable rights to challenge a payment, request information or obtain a remedy remain available.
11. Service scope and responsibility
Verification records and credentials report the results and status within Cloud Nations; they do not guarantee that every third party will accept them or that a linked organization or wallet is safe. A third party must assess whether the information satisfies its own legal or operational requirements.
We use reasonable care in operating the services. They may be unavailable during maintenance or incidents, and announced future features are not included unless delivered in an order. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, investment returns or a particular third-party acceptance decision. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
12. Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms for product, security or legal changes. The current page identifies its version and date. Material changes affecting an ongoing paid service will be communicated through the account or another available contact method; changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted order or a stored consent record. A new affirmative agreement will be requested where required.
Contact EdgeAlphix LLC at [email protected] for support, complaints, billing disputes or legal notices concerning Cloud Nations. Include the relevant application, organization or order reference, but do not send passwords, recovery codes or government document images by ordinary email. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
