This website

This notice covers the Cloud Nations public website and describes the connected identity platform separately. EdgeAlphix LLC operates Cloud Nations. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions.

The public website does not ask you to upload an identity document, create an account or pay. It does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Your theme choice is stored in your browser’s local storage.

Hosting and support

GitHub Pages hosts this website, and Cloudflare provides DNS and HTTPS proxy services. These services process network request information to deliver and protect the website. GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security purposes, as described in GitHub’s Pages documentation.

The support search runs in your browser. Search terms are not sent to a server. Email links open your email application; sending a message shares its contents and your email address with our support inbox and email providers.

Accounts and residency

The connected platform at portal.cloudnations.org stores the account and application information you provide, verification results, residency dates, payment references, credential records and relevant operational history. It uses session cookies to keep you signed in.

Stripe processes card payments. Card entry occurs in Stripe Checkout; Cloud Nations retains payment status and provider references rather than full card details. Applicable provider privacy notices govern their services.

Identity verification

Didit processes government documents, liveness and face matching for verification. Cloud Nations stores necessary verification results, provider references, protected identity details and duplicate-check information. It does not store raw government document images or liveness videos in its own application storage.

If you consent to retaining a verified portrait for your Digital Resident ID, the platform can retain that portrait separately from raw verification materials. A profile avatar is a separate image. Didit’s own handling and retention of verification materials are governed by its service and privacy terms.

Public profiles and QR verification

Your profile and QR verification use separate disclosure settings. QR verification defaults to preferred name, a masked number, credential authenticity, residency status and identity verification status. You can choose additional public fields.

Government document numbers, raw KYC materials and a full birth date are not QR public disclosure options. Credential status is determined by the platform rather than your profile settings.

App consent and Wallet

When you sign in to a third-party application with Cloud Nations, approved scopes determine which profile information or identity claims it receives. You can review and revoke app authorization in Settings.

Saving a pass to Google Wallet shares the pass contents with Google. You can manage or remove a saved pass in your Google account.

Approved organization API access

Public CNID and CNOID lookup uses the corresponding public disclosure settings. Separately, a manually approved organization may retrieve administrator-approved nonpublic information for a documented purpose, such as checking identity at an event. This can include verified legal name, date of birth, nationality, sex, contact email or ID portrait when specifically approved. A hidden public field is not excluded from this purpose-limited route solely because it is hidden.

Approval restricts fields, purpose, expiry and quota. Each subject lookup is recorded for administrators; the platform does not ask the holder to approve each lookup or display these logs in the holder account. Recipients must have a lawful basis, restrict use and retention, and protect the information. Cloud Nations may revoke misuse or expired access.

Retention and account closure

Your CNID remains permanently reserved to prevent reassignment, even after residency expires or an account closes. Account closure removes access, revokes credentials and clears or anonymizes profile and application details. Permanent number registrations, payment records and audit records are retained separately.

Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of account information, or to ask about a particular record’s retention. Closing a Cloud Nations account does not automatically delete records held by Didit, Stripe, Google or other service providers.

Updates and contact

We will update this page when the website’s services or data handling change. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
